When you arise in the morning, think of what a privilege it is to be alive, to think, to enjoy, to love. Do not waste what remains of your life in speculating about others, unless it is for some mutual benefit.
It is foolish to tie your well-being to the opinion of others. Instead, keep your mind focused on your own path, and let virtue be your guide.
